Open 24hrs and its a brand new place. Inside and out looks great. I like that they have actual glasses made of glass. Not plastic. Nice bright white plates and the food is plated well. Very comfy booths. Food is top notch for any Coney place. I always get breakfast from here and it is always consistent and fast. They even have a drive thru! It's always clean, wait staff is kind, food is great. What more is there to say?

Just looking for breakfast or a coney dog? This would be a great place. It has that 50's retro feel in a diner atmosphere. Very clean and reasonable pricing. Nice portions. I've been pleased with my omelettes every time. Drive through service.

Rolled in a 1:55 am Service was fast and food was fast and good. Not sure why the three stars at all This is a Coney Island Expect fast food that in not healthy Expect drunk people Expect local labor from the local plants If you are looking for a fine steak - this is not the place Enjoy - I will be back

Stopped in looking for a spot to plop the books down, grab some lunch and study for a bit... Nicky D's was a bit to loud for a study sesh, but it was good none the less. I had seen a picture from Yelp for a grilled veggie sandwhich and it looked so good...so I got one...and it was really good....the one thing I might change about the sandwich is to thin out the cucumbers you place on it. Those were a little thick and touch to bite through. Otherwise..the service and food were pretty great! I would 100% go back to Nicky D's...especially to get one of those greek chicken salads...a coworker had one before and it smelled heavenly....in the fridge!

Came here at around 1am, very very slow service, my Limon rice soup was not good at all, I waited 15 Mins just to get a refill on water. They are very understaff also, everything was a wait.

Okay now for a review from someone who actually ate the food... Let's do this review bullet style...BANG!! And here we go. *When you first walk in cool vibes galore. * When you sit down your greeted by a friendly smile. *The menu has your classic coney fare...but wait there's more. * Lots of good home cooked meals as well! * Food comes to the table hot fast and in hearty portions. * prices are very affordable for the budget conscious. CONCLUSION: Not the best restaurant on the face of Gods green earth but for what it is it's pretty great. I say give it a try.

Love this place. Always clean and friendly. Service is friendly and attentive. The omelets are excellent, fish and chips amazing, coleslaw creamy and fresh. Grilled chicken salad with added bacon and ranch outstanding as is the classic chef salad, with huge portions. I usually have them hold the seasoned salt on my fries, but that is the only thing that I have had here that I tweak. prices are reasonable for the huge portions, never can finish.

Perhaps it is my fault, but I did not enjoy the takeout at this location. I ordered the strawberry waffle. They placed the strawberries on the waffle that was placed in the styrofoam container. This is a problem because the waffle gets soggy just by being in the container with its own steam coming off of it, but when there are strawberries on top for the minutes between pick-up and getting home, the waffle soaks in the strawberries. Making this problem worse is that they use a thick strawberry sauce. I am sure it is a canned strawberry and I realize you get what you pay for and am comfortable with that, but I feel some thought should be put into whether toppings should be added on location or separately stored. Knocking it from a three to a two star is that the big guy in the back didn't have gloves on when handling food when I peeked through the back window.

I have been coming to Nicky D's for the past few months now and I must say, this coney is the best I've ever had. Not only is the service phenomenal, but the food is awesome! You always get more then what you pay for with this place. I love everything about this place. They have my business from now on and I will go out of my way because this is where my loyalty lies from here on out!

This is a new coney island on Vandyke.I ordered 2-coney dogs and a french fry that was horrible i could imagine dog food would taste better.Stay away like the plague.

Another coney island. Has a bunch of wraps to choose from. Does have breakfast all day but it's 1.75 more after 11am, not sure why. Friendly staff and very bright interior. Food was good and didn't take long.

Large Portions, Great Service, Great LOOKING service, very affordable prices. We eat here once a week. I was reading some other comments and yes, the Drive Through is slow but remember you are at a restaurant not a Fast Food joint, if you want fast food go to McDonalds. Great place!

They overcharge like crazy!!! I had three 5 dollar breakfasts with a water. Bill came out to close to 23 bucks. I guess they charge you 2 bucks for eating a breakfast after 11 o'clock... The waitress then began to tell me that she made a mistake and kicked it up even higher to 27 dollars!! Such a shame because they keep the place nice and good food but the rude lady at the register needs to go back to first grade math

Not sure how the food tastes yet, but.... Based on service alone I won't be back. Second car in line at the drive-thru and it took 20 minutes to get our food...grilled cheese & fries and chicken tenders & fries. Hope they're worth it. Can grilled cheese, chicken tenders and fries ever be worth 20 min in the drive-thru? Probably not.

Large portions, nice bright, clean inside with good sized booths. Not all waitresses are attentive, but usually they are nice. Be careful the specials are more expensive between 11pm and 6am. Sausage links a bit mushy, pancakes are huge. Food served fairly quickly. I don't like having to take my check up to pay at the register, wish the waitress always took it for me.

Honestly the service could be a lot better. Food is alright not the best if you compare it to National Coney Island or Phoenix Coney Island but it's okay good late night spot. The interior is nice and old school. What they should do is hire new waitresses and they will be perfect. Also I sat down at the counter and one of the girls working there not sure what her name is but she has a tattoo on ur left forearm and her nose pierced.. She asked if we're ready to order after 10 mins and didn't even ask if it's for here or to go so I said its for here at the end of my order. She didn't ask if I wanted anything to drink and 25 minutes later I get my food in a to go bag.. And not to mention she was flirting with 2 guys 96% of the time I was there not paying attention to all the other people waiting on their stuff. Just not a good experience I gave this place one more try and they did not impress so I'm not going to be going to Nicky D's anymore.
